Argentine left-back Emiliano Insua has signed a new three-year contract with Liverpool.
The 19-year-old Under-20 international has made five first team appearances for the club - featuring in the final three Barclays Premier League matches of last season.
Insua initially joined Liverpool on loan from Boca Juniors in January 2007 but signed a permanent contract last summer.

He was a key part of the Liverpool side that won the FA Premier Reserve League (North) title comfortably last season.
Manager Rafa Benitez has previously described the South American as: "a good, young player with a lot of potential."
Having featured at the back end of last season, Insua is expected to push for further first-team action in the upcoming campaign.
